How many sessions will I need?
Some clients get great results from just one peel. But for deeper pigment, melasma, or scarring, a series of 3-4 treatments spaced a month apart gives the most dramatic and lasting improvements. Is there pre-care required?
Some clients with specifically compromised skin or specific goals may require a pre-care skincare regimen to ensure good results. Otherwise, pre-treatment care is minimal and simple: avoid tanning, unprotected sun exposure, and any other aesthetic treatment for 2 weeks; shave hairy areas 24-48 hours before your session; and avoid exfoliating acids and retinoids for 5 days before treatment.
Is it painful?
You may feel a mild tingling or stinging for the first minute, but it quickly subsides. Most clients find the treatment very tolerable and completely worth it for the results. The discomfort is minimal compared to the dramatic improvements you’ll see in your skin’s clarity and texture.
When will I peel?
Depending on your skin type and the application style, some will only have minor flaking and peeling which starts on day 3 and ends around day 7. Other clients begin peeling on day 3, with noticeable shedding lasting through day 7-10. The key is to let your skin shed naturally without picking or peeling for the best results.
Are the results permanent?

Are there any risks?

While Perfect Derma Peel is considered very safe, mild side effects can happen, especially if aftercare instructions aren’t followed. The most common side effects are redness, sensitivity, tightness, and dryness. Less common risks include temporary darkening or lightening of the skin, bruising, acne flare-ups, skin irritation, prolonged redness, infection, and cold sore reactivation. Most clients recover quickly and safely with beautiful results.
